For 30 years I've provided a listening ear to my clients. Sometimes, that's all one needs. Other times, we may need a little more direction, a new insight, a gentle push. I strive to recognize and respect the uniqueness of each individual. I work with children, teens, and adults, doing individual therapy, play therapy, and couples therapy. Some of what I Offer: Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is a short-term, goal-oriented psychotherapy treatment that takes a hands-on, practical approach to problem-solving. The goal is to change patterns of thinking or behavior that are behind people's difficulties, and so change the way they feel. Contemplative psychotherapy is an approach to psychotherapy that includes the use of personal contemplative practices and insights informed by the spiritual/mystical traditions of the world's major and enduring religions. This approach recognizes that often-times our problems are psychological in their manifestation, but spiritual in their soultion.
