Tina Vest, APRN, CNP I am the owner of Vest Psychiatric Services, LLC and have been in practice as a Family Psychiatric & Mental Health Nurse Practitioner for 15 years and 7 additional years as a psychiatric nurse. I obtained my Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Nebraska Medical Center with induction into two lifetime honors societies and recipient of the Rena A Boyle scholarship for nursing excellence. I am board certified through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). I have served as a nurse practitioner in many capacities clinically and through volunteer service representing Nurse Practitioners. I served on the Magellan Peer Provider Review Committee from 2003 - 2013. I currently serve on the Magellan Provider Advisory Committee. I’m a volunteer on the Executive Board of Nebraska Nurse Practitioners as Finance Chair. I stay actively involved with legislative issues surrounding Nurse Practitioners and Health Services in Nebraska. I work with a variety of patients and specialize in diagnostic clarification. I have experience in various levels of care including crisis services, inpatient, residential, group homes, juvenile detention and outpatient. My goal is to enhance treatment planning and improved patient outcomes through research based practice. I specialize in child and adolescent disorders with particular focus on eating disorders, bipolar disorders, ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorders, Adult's with Depression, Anxiety, Bipolar Disorder and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. Additional areas of interest include women's mental health through the life span with particular interest in infertility, pregnancy and postpartum. I have additional training from Post Partum Support International to better care for women of child bearing age.
