    Marcos Rosenbaum

In my practice, including face to face in my office or with online sessions, I work with clients to feel comfortable and to form a bond, based on trust, that will foster a relaxed positive therapeutic interaction. It is important to me that, from the very first session, the client can communicate his or her story and feels heard, so that I can understand the presenting issues, communicate hope, and formulate mutually agreeable goals to achieve in our work together. I have over 10 years of experience treating clients suffering from relationship or financial issues, depression, anxiety, addiction, life transitions such acculturation, job change, or retirement. I enjoy working with individual adults and couples, am fluent in Spanish, and have a good communication understanding of Portuguese. Depending on a client's presenting problem, my treatment approach varies from concrete problem solving, practicing mindfulness, helping to recognize and speak for one's parts by following the Internal Family Systems, (IFS), model, and/or using psychodynamic approaches. I am sensitive to diversity, multicultural, and adjustment situations.
