I have worked as a therapist for several years and love what I do. I work to give you space that is just yours so that you can hear your inner voice in this noisy world. I do not view therapy so much as someone coming in for "help, " as much as I view it as someone coming in for "change." People tend to seek when they feel like they are in between decisions, life changing events, losses, loves or traumas. It creates this feeling we are somehow losing "something." That something can range from change in a flat-lined marriage to losing the life of a loved one. Our challenges turns into suffering from pain of the past; discomfort of the present and uncertainty of the future. The common struggle is learning how to see life with different lenses while staying anchored to everyday duties. In some ways it is having one foot in the present and another foot in the unknown. Transformation is change. Once you accept it, you will not merely call it uncomfortable, you will call it awareness.
