Brandon Keepers

Brandon leads back-end development by bringing a deep knowledge of the web and merging it with brilliant pragmatism. He's known to get things done quickly and efficiently.

Brandon has worked for Collective Idea in 2006 as a refugee from "Enterprise" Java development. Since drinking the Ruby kool-aid, he has become a widely-read blogger and valuable member of the Ruby and Rails community while contributing to (and beginning) several open source projects.

Daniel Morrison

Daniel has been writing beautiful Ruby on Rails applications since before it was cool, saving himself from a life of PHP development. He founded Collective Idea to build fantastic Rails applications for others.

He's known to talk at length about obscure programming topics, though HTML 5 and Unicode are current favorites. When not programming, he can be found coming up with geeky things around the house.

Brian Ryckbost

Brian brings technical vision paired with an entrepreneurial mind to his code. Brian has written software to help organizations manage their information and automate business processes, share travel videos, connect soccer fans around the world, and simulate Mendelian genetics. Brian has a degree in Computer Science from Calvin College and works for Collective Idea. Brian used to have free time, now he has a beautiful baby girl.

Keith Gaddis

A lack of available games drove Keith to learn to code for his TRS-80 as a child. Since then, he's worked on software ranging from 3D graphics toolkits to medical and public health applications to content management. After discovering Ruby and Rails in 2006, he found that he once again enjoyed writing software as much as he did as a child.

He is forever seeking ways to combine his love of software development with his other interests, including microbiology and photography. He lives in Cedar Park, TX, with his beautiful wife and son (who is well on his way to becoming a pint-size geek.)
