We are launching a study on the reimbursement of online counseling. We know many people would try online counseling if they could use their insurance. We now enable this on Breakthrough.com and want to collect data on which insurers reimburse online counseling the most.

We are offering a subsidized online counseling session on Breakthrough.com to people with health insurance in one of the below twelve states. We will cover your co-pay and any additional costs to your provider.

Breakthrough.com is confidential and HIPAA-compliant. Only licensed mental health providers in good professional standing are allowed on Breakthrough.

Eligibility:

We are looking for volunteers with health insurance in California, Colorado, Georgia, Hawaii, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, New Hampshire, Oregon, Oklahoma, Texas or Virginia. These are the twelve states in which reimbursement for telemedicine services is required by law.

Get Started:

Email Sarah@breakthrough.com with the name of your insurance plan. I can then find a provider who accepts your insurance. I will also need your email address if you would like your co-pay refunded via PayPal.

You do not need to share your name with me. You can even use a throw away email address. You will need to share some contact information with your provider.
